The General Meeting will have a similar format to previous CMS annual meetings and will have 7 plenary lectures (including that of the CMS Awards). This Meeting will have 7 sessions organized in 2 parallel sessions (the session on Tuesday 8th June, afternoon will be in parallel to Conferences of Sepiolite Symposium) with a total of 7 key notes, about 60 oral communications and 100 poster presentations per one of the three poster sessions (one session per day). The conferences of the Sepiolite Symposium will take place in parallel to the Tuesday afternoon General Meeting session. The technical program will be held in the “Hotel Meliá Sevilla”, the convention headquarters. The hotel is easy to reach via Cercanias C-1 from Santa Justa (usually track 9), the main railway station. Purchase a ticket and board the train heading to San Bernardo. The route to the hotel is traced on the map below.

The position of the hotel with respect to the main railway station (Santa Justa) and the San Bernardo cercanias station is shown in the top map. To reach the hotel, exit the San Bernardo train station on the left and and turn left at the street. Walk about 50 meters to the stoplight at Dr. Pedro de Castro. Turn right and walk a little more than 100 meters to the hotel. The first thing you will notice is the spa connected with the hotel. The hotel may also be reached by taxi from the Santa Justa Station (around 6-8€). Bus service from the airport to the city center (Avda. del Cid) is also available with departures every 30 minutes from 6:15 AM until 23:00 PM. The Organisers of the 2010 TMC General Meeting have appointed 3 awards to the best presentations made by students that have already registered for the General Meeting (Seville) as students to recognize excellence and scientific quality of their communications:
The candidates have to contact the Organizers of the General Meeting preferably by e-mail to the 2010TMC-generalmeeting@sea-arcillas.es address with the subject: STUDENT AWARDS, indicating the name of the candidate, title of the presentation, indication of poster/oral award and session of the communication, by 8th June. The candidates to the poster awards must afford 3 copies of the poster in A3 or A4 size to the Organizers.
The student awarders will be selected by an ad hoc committee and honoured with the 3 awards during the Closing Ceremony on June 10th.
