Workshop on Materials & Clay Minerals

A one day workshop on the development and use of advanced materials based on clays and clay minerals will be held at the Materials Science Institute of Madrid (National Research Council of Spain, ICMM-CSIC, http://www.icmm.csic.es/) located on the UAM Campus which can be reached by Renfe Cercanias Routes C-1, C-7, or C-10 from the Atocha Railway Station, the Nuevos Ministerios  Metro and train Station or from the Hotel Husa Chamartin. See a map of the Madrid Cercanias Network where the Cantoblanco Universidad Renfe stop is pointed by a red arrow.

The auditorium is a short walk from the Cantoblanco Universidad Cercanias Station. See a map of the campus where the location of the auditorium is red circled (number 20). Workshop participants are encouraged to stay at the Hotel Husa Chamartin where a special rate has been arranged for 2010TMC participants. Lectures will be presented by experts from academia and industry.

The proceedings will be published online by the CMS as a monograph in their Workshop Lectures Series.
